Phoenix Art Foundation proudly presents:
Garun a... Feature Film Project
Alexander Khachatryan, named Best Actor in 2017 Scandinavian International Film Festival, will produce and star in the upcoming drama “It's Spring…” (Garun a…), depicting paternal relationships spanning three generations and their conflicting ideologies of love and patriotism. Based on a true story, the film highlights the delicate issue of serving one’s country, and how patriotism can present itself in various forms. An already tense father-son relationship takes on a new turn as the grandson pursues his patriotic ambitions, against his father’s wishes, and joins the army. He stands strong at the frontlines alongside fellow soldiers during an unexpected breach of ceasefire. The events that transpire during the Four Days of Spring put the patriotism of the young soldiers to test. As these novice soldiers stand their ground, their patriotism and love proves to be strong enough to defeat an organized attack by enemy special forces.
